The cost of college can be daunting. Tuition and fees vary from state to state and the price for higher education costs more than it did in previous generations.

As a result, you may want to start thinking about funding your children’s college now. The sooner you start thinking (and hopefully saving) the easier it will be. It's also important to understand the types of financial aid available.
